We had a nice meal at Bateleur but nothing out of the ordinary. I had fish with potatoes in a mint/pea broth and my husband had veal with risotto and fresh peas, finishing with a cheese plate. There was only 1 server and she was running to keep up so service definitely suffered. For instance, the cheese plate was dropped on our table without any explanation of what each of the cheeses were; we figured it out but would have appreciated even a simple explanation. The prices are on the expensive side as we had 2 main courses, a cheese plate and 3 glasses of wine totalling €115.

We enjoyed a fabulous meal here. We were a party of 6 with two children and they were very accommodating making up a children’s menu which was a small portion of a main course on the menu plus ice cream. The food was excellent, the dessert particularly. We chose the chocolate and it had a fondant, ice cream and mousse like a cloud!

Nice indoor setting & delicious meal, be it fish or meat. Though selection is limited, food ingredients are of fresh produce. Waiting staff is truly courteous & attentive to needs. Really worth a visit (or more 😉). …

They had one 3 course menu (vegetable soup, veal with ratatouille, and peach-mango dessert) but it was the best thing we've had in Côtes du Rhône !

Food mediocre and boring. Husband’s fish was ok.. Not great but edible. My veal was inedible. (surcharge too). When the waitress asked about my meal , I told her and she laughed. Probably wasn’t listening. Anyway, my fault for not complaining and sending it back.

The food was good quality, but small portions and high prices. The view was surprisingly nice hugging a small cliff over the river, facing old town. The staff was professional but not really warm. I was more comfortable in La Lyriste a few blocks away as it was family-owned, more traditional home-cooking, and the owners were super-charming and warm without being overwhelming; all that and it was a better value for the money.

Not inexpensive, but a fantastic meal. We did the price fix option which included entre+plate+dessert. Service was very good and several additional little items came to keep your tasty buds singing.

A lovely little spot looking out over the river. We had a wonderfully excecuted simple dinner with fresh local ingredients. Very quick and professional service. The house wines were very good
